Film Permit

Film permits for city public property use are issued by the city for the purpose of making movies, still photography, television film for commercial or promotional purposes.

Requirements

A completed commercial/promotional film permit (PDF) must be completed and submitted to the City Clerk within 5 business days prior to the requested date(s) for filming.

Public liability and property damage insurance, in an amount not less than $500,000 per person, $1,000,000 per occurrence, bodily injury and death; and $250,000 per occurrence, $500,000 aggregate property damage.

Public property use fees are set forth annually in the City's Master Fee Schedule. The 2019/2020 Film Permit Application Fee is $171;  the 2019/2020 Public Property Use Fee (for Filming Only) is $668 per day.
