 WHAT IS STAR CAMP?

STAR Camp’s mission is to provide an active, healthy, and safe environment for youth to learn and play. The program lives up to it’s slogan of "No Child Left Inside" by focusing on inspiring a love for the outdoors through authentic Tahoe recreation experiences in the natural playground of the Tahoe region.
 

The structured programs include a strong emphasis on promoting and recognizing positive behavior, fostering meaningful friendships, and developing children’s self-confidence and leadership skills. We continue to encourage kids to get outside, play games, and make healthy choices.

Summer 2020-STAR Camp-Youth Program Details:

Our STAR Camp youth program is looking forward to kicking off another fun and exciting summer beginning June 22,2020
Pre-registration is highly recommended; space is limited.
Drop-ins are welcome on a space available basis only.

Ages: 6-12 years (entering grades 1st-6th)

Staff: Our STAR Camp team is experienced in outdoor education, First Aid/CPR, and youth leadership.

Location: Recreation & Swim Complex at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. South Lake Tahoe, CA

Dates & Times: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM-5:30 PM, beginning June 22nd through August 21st  2020

Cost:$35 per day or $150 per week. Reservations are highly recommended.  (Additional cos for Fun Trips; 10% discount for siblings)
