Campground by the Lake
By order of the City of South Lake Tahoe Fire Chief, open flames are not allowed. ALL wood and charcoal fires are banned in the Lake Tahoe Basin. Gas fires are allowed but not on red flag days. Do your part to keep #tahoesafe.
According to Federal and State land management officials, the Lake Tahoe area is facing an elevated risk of a severe and potentially catastrophic wildfire season due to drought conditions, dense and dry vegetation, and the critical threat of active wildfires statewide. This suspension will be enforced with extinguishment and possible citations and fines.
The campground is currently open with modified conditions and limited camping in response to the current pandemic and in accordance with State and Local public health guidelines.
Camping is only available for those with existing reservations with self-contained RV’s only.
Showers and restrooms are not available.
If you have a reservation and are not able to self-contain please contact firstname.lastname@example.org to either transfer your reservation to 2021 or request a full refund.
New reservations may be secured for the 2021 season only.
