Plan Review Submittal Requirements
Required if any of the below criteria exists (this is a non exhaustive list; other projects not listed below may also be subject to this requirement):
- Any new build in the City of South Lake Tahoe
- Any addition of 200 sq. ft. or more to a structure located within Tahoe Keys
- Any new Cell Tower
Single Family Dwellings and Duplexes
An Encroachment Permit is required if any of the below criteria exists:
- New driveway
- Change in size of driveway
- Remove and replace driveway if any contact will be made with the City's right-of-way
- Any work in, or contact with, City's right-of-way
Commercial/Other Projects
Please reach out to the Public Works Department
Required if any of the below criteria exists (this is a non exhaustive list; other projects not listed below may also be subject to T24s):
- Any new residential dwellings
- Any additions of living space
- Solar
- Tenant Improvement projects
Required for new single family dwellings and projects proposing to rehabilitate landscaping.
Required if any of the below criteria exists (this is a non exhaustive list; other projects not listed below may also be subject to STPUD approval):
- New single family dwelling
- New multi-family dwelling
- New commercial building
- Fire sprinklers
- Project results in an increases of existing sewer units or existing water service
Required if any of the below criteria exists (this is a non exhaustive list; other projects not listed below may also be subject to Liberty Utilities approval):
- Generators
- Solar
- New EVCS or service is being upgraded
- Cell Towers
