
Finance Department
The Finance Department provides professional support to City Management in order to allow them to make sound fiscal and organizational decisions. The department helps maintain the City's financial health, and monitors/reports on the financial position of the City.
The Finance department is also responsible for collecting, analyzing, recording, auditing and reporting all financial transactions of the City in the accordance with all applicable accounting, City and other governmental requirements and/or guidelines.
The Finance Director, Christine Vuletich, is responsible for the overall operation, oversight and quality of service of the department and serves as primary financial advisor to the City Manager.
On December 8, 2009 members of the Tourism Improvement District voted to renew the per night assessment on occupied rooms and the City Council passed a Resolution to levy the new rates. Effective for room nights beginning on December 18, 2009 the new assessment is $3.00 per paid occupied room night for hotels and motels and $4.50 per paid occupied room night on timeshares, condos, triplexes, duplexes, and homes under management contracts
