- 16 years in City management in Dallas and Richardson Texas, as well as Coral Springs and Tallahassee Florida.
Undergraduate and graduate degrees from University of California at Santa Barbara and Cornell University
Born in Salzburg, Austria and raised in Naples, Italy; London; Bangkok, Thailand, New York City and Hawaii
Wife Suzy and three children – Megan, a senior at the University of Michigan, Shannon a sophomore at the University of British Columbia and Jimmy, a sophomore at South Lake Tahoe High School…and Murphy, a one year old golden retriever

OVERVIEW
The City Manager is directly responsible to the City Council for the proper and efficient administration of all municipal affairs coming under his jurisdiction. The City Manager provides for the effective implementation of the City Council’s policies and priorities, advises Council on reliable and responsible methods of responding to community needs, encouraging and implementing programs to bolster the local economy and protect local government revenues, and provides overall organizational leadership to ensure the effective and efficient delivery of services, projects and programs for 24,000 local residents.
