Patrick Enright, City Attorney		City Attorney Appointed by the City Council, the City Attorney and Assistant City Attorney serves as the legal advisor to the City of South Lake Tahoe, including the City Council, the South Tahoe Redevelopment Agency, the various City Commissions, as well as all City departments and officers. The City Attorney represents the City of South Lake Tahoe in litigation to which the City is a party, either as a plaintiff or defendant; prepares and/or approves all City ordinances, resolutions and contracts, and renders legal opinions to the City Council, City departments and City officers.

The City Attorney's office works with City departments to secure compliance with a wide range of code, permitting and licensing provisions which help protect the quality of life in South Lake Tahoe.
