    Attend the upcoming City Council meeting on Tuesday, July 7th at 9am in the City Council Chambers located at 1901 Airport Road. City Council meetings are open to the public and are generally held on the first and third Tuesday of each month beginning at 9am.

  2. Lights on the Lake Fireworks Show

    July 4, All Day

    The South Shore’s 4th of July Fireworks Show is scheduled to begin at 9:45pm. The fireworks are visible from all over town. Lakeview Commons/El Dorado Beach, is located at the corner of Hwy 50 and Lakeview Ave. and offers front row seating. Please respect the environment and only leave your footprints behind.   3. Adopt-a-Beach Tahoe

    July 5, All Day

    Join local agencies for the “Adopt-a-Beach-Tahoe” at all South Lake Tahoe beaches and pitch in to help clean-up after the 4th of July celebrations. Beaches within the City limits which will be hosting beach clean-ups are Lakeview Commons at El Dorado Beach and Regan Beach in the Al Tahoe neighborhood.

  4. Coffee with a Cop

    July 9, 8:00 AM - 10:00 AM @ Starbucks at the Raley’s shopping center at Stateline

    Have “Coffee with a Cop” on Thursday mornings from 8am-10am at the Starbucks at the Raley’s shopping center at Stateline this summer. The concept of “coffee with a cop” provides community members and visitors the chance to meet our officers and help shape our policing efforts in South Lake Tahoe. The more we hear from you, the better we are able to provide excellence in public service. Stop by and share what’s going on in your neighborhood, what you are concerned about, and of course we’re happy to hear good news as well.

  5. Parks & Recreation Commission Meeting

    July 9, 9:00 AM @ City Council Chambers

    Attend the upcoming Parks & Recreation Commission meeting on Thursday, July 9th at 9am in the City Council Chambers located at 1901 Airport Rd. Commission meetings are held on the second Thursday of each month at 9am in the City Council Chambers. For more information call (530) 542-6056.

  6. Live at Lakeview 2015 Summer Concert Series

    July 9, 4:30 PM - 8:30 PM @ Lakeview Commons

    The City of South Lake Tahoe presents the free summer concert series at Lakeview Commons produced by On Course Events. The summer music series kicks off on Thursday, June 25th at 4:30pm. Lakeview Commons is located on the corner of Highway 50 and Lakeview Avenue across for the Campground by the Lake. Limited parking is available onsite with additional free parking available at the Recreation Swim Complex located at 1180 Rufus Allen Blvd. with an accessible walking path along the campgrounds to access Lakeview Commons.
