Disadvantaged Business Enterprise


Lake Tahoe Airport (TVL) is a participant in the USDOT Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) Program. 

As a part of the program, the Airport is developing a DBE participation goal for the projects listed below. In establishing the proposed goal, the Airport shall consult with minority, women’s, and general contractor groups as well as community organizations who can share information on the availability of disadvantaged and non-disadvantaged businesses, the effects of discrimination on opportunities for DBE’s, and the recipient’s efforts to establish a level playing field for the participation of DBE’s.

The City of South Lake Tahoe hereby announces its proposed Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) participation goal of 3.78% for FAA-funded contracts/agreements. The proposed goal pertains to federal fiscal years 2019 through 2021. A teleconference will be held on January 31, 2019 between 1:00 and 1:30 PM PST for the purpose of consulting with stakeholders to obtain information relevant to the goal-setting process.
