The Parks and Recreation Commission conducted a visioning workshop to gather public input on current and future uses of Bijou Park.
The Parks, Trails and Recreation Master Plan recommends the City develop a Master Plan specific to Bijou Park to address the growing demands for recreation amenities in the park. The purpose of the workshop was to initiate the process toward a long range vision for the park.

The third Public Meeting for the re-design of Regan Beach was held on October 6, 2015 at 5:30pm at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center. Approximately 25 people attended and voiced their opinions the preferred design concept presented. The preferred concept was developed based on public input received over the last year along with City input and profession design experience. Refinement will be made to this preferred design before it is presented to the City Council later this fall along with a preliminary cost estimate for design, permitting and construction. We are looking for additional public input on this design plan.

The second Pubic Meeting for the re-design of Regan Beach was held on July 28, 2015 at the South Lake Tahoe Recreation Center. Approximately 50 people attended and voiced their opinions on three preliminary design concepts presented.
The City of South Lake Tahoe held a community outreach meeting on June 16, 2015 for the public to provide additional input on the future improvements at Regan Beach.
Design Workshop provided an overview of the survey results compiled from previous community outreach meetings and suggested programming and concepts based on the community feedback. The presentation can be viewed on the link below.
